White Lake Hike : Exhale

It was another gorgeous sunny day for a hike.

We went to White Lake to check out the alkaline lake.

We arrived late so Saige and Astrid set off to catch up with the rest of the group.

There are bluebird boxes along the trail.

I could see the group venturing onto the lake as I got closer.

What a sight!

The lakebed is covered in salt crystals.

Astrid tasted some.

There were some great photo opportunities. This one is titled "Wild Woman Stalked"

The kids were very interested in the sticky clay.

We found alot of animal tracks in the mud. This one looks like bear mabe. And mabe coyote.

More cool tracks.

The kids loved discovering these mama and baby tracks. So cute.

It was awsome.

Then a quiet lunch on the hillside overlooking the lake.
