These are the beautiful squares on a green felt backing.
The mammas checked for layout and composition.
Then the edges were stiched in place.
Then some of the children got started needle felting more colour onto their square.
Everyone cooperated well and took turns with the felting needles and sponges.

The wooden heart Astrid sewed onto her square.
Her turn to add more colour.
She really enjoyed the process.
All the kids were excited, yet focused on their project.
It turned out BEAUTIFUL!
