First thursday activity

Getting ready to wet felt.



Laying out the wool in layers using rubbermaid lids as a tray. The kids layered in a vertical then horizantal then vertical then horizantal pattern. Repeat. Or some kids just piled and piled. The felting project brought out alot of personality.




Lots of silly faces.





Then we poured the hot water over the layers of wool. And soap. Lots of dish soap.

Then lots of squishing and rubbing and agitating and squishing.




Then Nicole showed up with the bubble wrap and some coloured wool to add to the fun.








Adding the colour and design.



Then more bubble wrap and more squishing.


Oh yeah. And we added glitter. Woohoo!




The finished product. Rinsed and ready to dry in the sun.

Kinda lost the kids towards the end and they all ran off to play for a bit. This is them returning.
